Flip each card to check yourself, shuffle the order, and skip through at your own pace.

  3. 3

    Track what you know

Mark each card as "got it" or "still learning" so you can see how much is left to review.

Frequently asked questions

Are my flashcards saved when I close the tab?
Yes. Your deck is stored in your browser on this device, so it is still there next time you open the page in the same browser. Clearing your browser data or using a different device or browser starts you with a fresh deck, since nothing is kept on a server.
Why study with flashcards instead of re-reading notes?
Flashcards make you retrieve the answer from memory, which strengthens recall far more than passively re-reading. This is called active recall, and pairing it with reviewing cards over several days, known as spaced repetition, is one of the most effective ways to remember material for an exam.
Is there a limit on how many cards I can make?
There is no fixed limit. Build a deck as large as you need; very large decks are simply held in your browser like the rest of your cards. Because everything runs locally, there is no account, no upload and no cap imposed by a server.
Is anything I type sent to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, so the work you do here stays on your own device and nothing is uploaded. There is no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it, and once the page has loaded it keeps working with no connection.
